Powder hydrogenated palm oil hardener added to melt and pour soap firms up soft glycerine soap. Melt and pour soap high glycerine content is even softer with addition of good oils in formulation. It is often too soft with lots of sweating. Vegetable soap hardener firms up melt and pour soap. The amount used is to requirement on the soap softness. Do not overdose as soap becomes too hard, difficult to pour level and lack solubility or lather.
Conduct small trial batch starting with 1% by weight of soap base and melt with soapbase. Thereafter adjust according to needs as different soap recipe have varying oil content.
