A mineral powder whitener used in ink and paints to enhance whiteness. Added to soap for the ivory white or opaque white soap. Similiar use in colored iron oxides to blend tones or as a whitener in cement castings. Dry blend with premix mortar before addition of water.
In candle craft to cast white candles. Noted for its brilliant white in waterbase and oil paints in color formulation DIY or factory production. Ball milling or mortar grinding to reduce Tio2 particles sizes helps to increase opacity. Additive like Superplasticiser and dispersing agent Reotan L helps to concentrate the white color pigment and for better flow and dispersion.
