Basic instructions: Start with clean hands and work area. Knead clay until soft and smooth. Shape clay. Pieces thicker than 1/2in (12mm) may need “bulking out” with crumpled aluminium foil and/or artmature wire. Bake on oven-proof glass or metal surface at 275°F (130°C) for 15 miniutes per 1/4in (6mm) of thickness.
Can be mixed knead with Super Sculpey for the desired working feature. Bake to same temperature to set.
Taxidermy use as claws, beaks replacement. After baking, gloss with H20 covercoat varnish as will not become tacky over time.
DO NOT MICROWAVE. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Baking should be completed by an adult. Wash hands after use.
Please note stocks clearance of ALL 1lb Super Sculpey hard clays require kneading with Sculpey clay softener before use. Break clay into lumps and place inside glass bottle. Dose sufficient clay softener shake well overnight. Press crumbs into roller at widest setting. Several passes with clay roller gradually reducing the roller gap width or an acrylic roller is necessary. Add sufficient amount and knead well but not over softening which you can add more crumbly polymer clay.
