Practical steel block for rivet setting, press studs, jewellery and tool making. As a solid metal base it ensures designs are clearly imprinted in leather stamping of vegetable tanned leather. Use as a base in leather skiving much better than a cutting mat base. Metal base do not allow accidental skiving of the rubber cutting mat. In metal stamping a firm hard metal block will not rebound. Only one firm hard strike supported by a metal block is required for a clear precise print. To reduce metallic knocking noise, use a hard rubber disc underneath metal block.
