Recon Japanese Firmer Chisel 1.25cm(W)

12.9mm firmer chisel is forged from one metal piece from blade to socket tang. This blade thickness tapers from 7mm to infinite. The wood handle is refitted new from a hardwood dowel with a 1mm x 12mm brass metal hoop further cushioned with a leather disc insert. This brass hoop and disc protects the handle from mushrooming when struck with a hammer. A well reconditioned firmer chisel with many more years of service.
