Recon Flat Chisel – 16cm(L) x 1.5cm(W)

Hang forged tang this chisel is from one piece metal. Blade thickness taper from 7mm to 5mm chisel point. The thicker 7mm is hammered thin to form the socket tang. This method of tang construction is time consuming but sets firmly into a conical wood handle without the problem of splitting the wood handle if pointed tang is preferred. Recon flat chisel is sharpened, honed and ready to use. Handle not provided.
