A water soluble nitrate as fertiliser in soil-less hydroponics. As a foliar spray to correct nutrient deficiency and induce flowering. A tree stump removal by drilling holes in stump and filling with potassium nitrate powder. An important material in pyrotechnic formulation together with sulphur and carbon. Loose fine white granular grain.
