Waterbase paper clay base for texturing, background effects, joints and hole filling. As water base, drying shrinkages cracks can be infilled with the same. White base can be colored with oxides pigments, color concentrated or acrylic colors. Reinforced with both short and long lengths cellulose fibres for better bridging strength. When dried fine sand, matt seal and paint with acrylic colors.
For better adhesion onto wood base, apply Multifilla modelling glue prior texturing or sculpting with paper clay base or paper clay. A wood filler to cover wood grains. Fine sand before guilding with gold foil. As a backing filler on copper tooling as a support for the embossed areas. For a quicker set, mix in Plaster of Paris powder to paper clay base.
