A natural mineral. Mullite is highly refractory with excellent resistant to deformation under load or heat. Many uses in ceramic as thermal shock resistant formulation of glazes and clay bodies in crucibles, coatings for electrodes, heating pipes, hand formers body, firebricks, furnace lining, slumping mold for glass.
Available in fine #325 and coarse #50.
