Scrapper blades are for smoothing wooden surfaces, removing planning marks, dents cleaning glue joints and levelling uneven varnish coats.
Sharpened properly and burnished to a fine hook it can smoothen surfaces much better than sanding or grinding. It is how one angle the blade in use, it produces superb results even against the grain.
These French scrapper blades are from cold roll spring steel in 0.8mm thickness.
