Matt powder to add to waterbase acrylics for a matt finish. Ideal for solvent paints too. To prevent lumps mix to a concentrate smooth paste with water or solvent paints and dilute with the color. Matt powder can be mixed with binder H20 covercoat varnish or Supergloss for a matt varnish. Matt powder can be air delivered unlike the liquid matting agent.
Note over addition can result in a crackle finish. As a fine powder mix in a well ventilated area and avoid dust inhalation. Add sparingly as it will lighten color tone. As a clear matt or satin varnish mix with h20 or supergloss sparingly as over addition with have a patchy finish. This can be corrected by coating over with same varnish binder like H20 or supergloss.
