Solid brass spruce former is like a funnel with adjustable rod to connect to model for a continuous channel in mold casting. Its size is ideal in mold casting of miniature resin models. Spruce diameter is 14mm taper to 9mm. Suited for syringe injection casting of epoxy, polyester and even molten wax. The taper spruce formed in the mold act as a resin reservoir to gravity fill gradually as entrapped air is vent released through the well placed air vents in the model cavity.
Spruce former is suitable for silicon rubber, plaster and reusable oyumaru rubble molds.
