Ideal repair filler for smooth surface leather like purses, handbags, sofa, watch straps and any other leather craft items like leather bound books cover. Works fine as a taxidermy crack filler. Paintable with acrylic paints or dyes to match color of the repaired item.
Lightly sand cracks with fine #1000 mesh sand paper. Clean sanded surface with Isopropyl alcohol. With a mini spatula fill in crack with the repair filler. Clean up surrounding area with a damp cloth dap with Multifilla brush cleaner. Touch up with matching color acrylic paint and seal with matt sealer. Allow to dry 24 hours before buffing with leather dressing as a water resistant covercoat. Alternatively H20 flexible covercoat provide additional water resistant gloss sheen.
Repair filler is a flexible filler that adhere to cleaned fibrous crack edges. It can also be used to repair faux leather as filler will adhere well to the mesh backing.
