Fine grain carving wood. Also use in hand carved printing blocks, stamping block with lino sheet. Natural sap holes are permitted. Holes can be filled with paper clay base and Multigrip – PVA glue and sanded down. Larger widths 36cm jelutong are joined as it is increasingly difficult to find big trees. All wood pieces are planned both surfaces, sides squared for a tight glue joint. Finally machine sanded both surfaces.
NOTE: Jelutong wood may have natural sap holes which can be filled with wood filler. Please purchase on this understanding.
