Short length chopped fiberglass strands approximately 12mm length to reinforce polyester resin in fiberglass works. Mix well polyester or epoxy resin with catalyst before adding and mixing in the resin with the fiberglass strands. These short strands offer strength and workability in difficult to access areas and intricate curvatures that fiberglass matt cannot conform well. Also suitable for gap bridging with resin or polyputty on metal, cement and even wood.
Insoluble glass fibre strands similarly reinforces cement, clay and plaster works in sculptures, taxidermy, dioramas and castings.
