CB1 is a fine slip clay powder to mix with sodium silicate and soda ash into a slip casting clay with plaster mold. White firing bisquitware to cone 03-04 (1060 – 1100°C) this earthenware clay body is suited for velvet underglazes and LG 10 clear gloss to 1060°C
To mix 2 part powder mix to 1.5 part water by volume with 1 tablespoon sodium silicate and half tablespoon soda ash into gauging water. Recommend power drill attached with Jiffy mixer to blend into a smooth slurry. Allow overnight ageing before slip casting.
