Carnauba Tung Oil Abrasive Polish – 90g

Practical combination in wood treatment with tung oil, wood sanding with micro diatom silica and polish with carnauba wax. This 3 in 1 bar is best use with a hard felt wool or hard cotton polishing pad. It requires friction as in sanding with heat for oil penetration and wax spread. Carnauba wax is well known as a hard wearing wax. To use hand rub carnauba tung oil abrasive bar liberally over wood surface before machine felt buffing. Alternatively dress the buffing felt with bar before polishing. Recommended use in raw timber sanded surface for indoor and outdoor or over tung oil treated surfaces as final finish waxing. The resultant finish is extremely smooth with good water proofing and timber preservation. Tung oil in its pure unadulterated form is slow drying allowing saturation and absorption into wood cell thereafter it oxidized into a rubbery polymer in waterproofing and reduces timber cells movements that causes cracks. The micro diatom silica abrasives  removes scratches for a blemish free surface.
