This relay is to regulate power supply to the select fire computer panel in the Excel kilns. The failure of this relay will deactivate below panel functions in select firing. Error message on panel will indicate relay is not functioning. One or more relays will then need to be replaced.
The select fire panel have the below functions with improved MENU key organizes options for quicker access and now includes these new features:
- Controlled cooling with Cone Fore mode
- Current Sensing: Read voltage and amperage directly from your display
- Optional two-key press start to avoid accidental starting
- Set a maximum programmable temperature to help prevent overfiring
- Configure an additional output to run an automatic dialer to call you if an error occur during firing
Select Fire is available built-in on any AMACO or EXCEL kiln. Whether you are an advanced artist, production potter, art teacher, or hobbyist, the Select Fire means more precise control and less time spent monitoring firings.
Either version will provide firing accuracy, convenience, and consistent results firing after firing. You can set the Select Fire to fire by temperature or by cone number at one of three pre-set firing programs-slow, medium, or fast.
Select Fire Features:
- Ramp/Hold: Create your own firing profile by selecting up to eight segments of temperature change and hold
- Delay Firing Start: Select delay up to 99 hours, 99 minutes
- Permanent Program Memory: Protects values entered in case of power failure and allows storage of up to six Ramp/Hold programs in memory
- Controlled Cooling Rate: Program specific cooling rate to achieve desired results
- Program Review: Shows you what Ramp/Hold segment is currently in use
- Cone Fire Mode: Enter by Cone number (022-10) then choose one of three pre-set firing programs – slow, medium, or fast
