Weathered Wood is a crackling medium which, when used with Americana Acrylics or Crafter’s Acrylic, will achieve an aged, cracked, antiqued or distressed wood finish on most hard craft surfaces. Larger glaze crackles then one step crackle medium.
Application Methods:
Apply this medium after base coating with the color you want to appear through the cracks. Top with the final coat of paint and it will crackle as it dries to create an eggshell pattern, giving a vintage, distressed finish. When dry, seal with varnish.
