Non GMO organic sustainable coconut oil is hydrogenated into a wax with many applications. As a container candle, it burns clean, soot less non toxic with very long burning time. As a slow burning oil it last 50% longer than paraffin wax. It have good scent retention and scent throw. Good opacity that can be colored with wax colors as attractive container or as tea light candle in clear polycarbonate container. Can be blended with beeswax as a firmer candle. Burns well and smokeless with wood and cotton wick. Coconut wax have no smell. Pour as a creamy wax. It is stable in storage though might soften or melt in high temperature storage or during delivery. Wax will solidify when cooled.
Its low melting point of 41.3°C can be blended with skin safe oils like baby oil as massage oil, hair tonic and cream, lip balm and other cosmetic products. Coconut wax is packed with vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants that moisturizes skin, hair and nails, giving them a youthful, vibrant look. It also reduces blemishes on the skin and evens skin tone. Lathers well in hot process soap making. Sponify as a harder soap than with palm oil or other vegetable oil formulated to requirements. Lauric acid in coconut oil have known benefits in skin and hair care as in shampoo bar. Rancid free non sticky natural emollient in cosmetic formulation. Though in lumps it quickly liquifies with body temperature into a moisturising massage oil.
Store wax in cool dry place. If store temperature is high the wax will leach oil but will solidify when cooled.
