Polished and honed sharp cutter ready to use. A gentle gouge sweep to carve soft and hardwood. Palm size 8 mm wood carving tool by renown wood carving tool manufacturer Pfeil. Cutter metal is hard alloy steel, heat treated uniformly along cutting edge to 59- 61 HRC and hand sharpened. Tool is set in Ash wood handle treated with solvent free natural oil.
Tool maintenance by stropping on a grain side leather dressed with 0.5 micron diamond paste.
