Clear epoxy that set faster in 10 hours compared to overnight setting of most epoxies. Mix ratio by weight 100 : 30 catalyst by weight and mix well. Suitable for casting and coating. Like all epoxy it will gradually yellow over a period of years which could be camouflaged with light tinting with translucent So Strong color pigment concentrates or UV resistant pigment. For bubble free castings best vacuum the mix before casting. Any surface bubbles can then be eradicated with a micro flame butane torch. Clean up with acetone.
Ideal for casting river table with waste wood, Micarta knife handles, encapsulation of Rubber clay and more crafts application. Mix with micro spheres as hole and crack filler. Thicken with Aerosil 200 for texturing. Inject between floor tiles to solve floating tiles detected by hollow sound.
Advantage of this set is the epoxy resin or catalyst can be purchased separately in standard packing should one component is short.
