A replacement switch for Excel kilns operating with Dawson cone sitter control. This infinite switch regulate the firing speed by numbers set manually on off operation power supply to the heating elements. The high setting override the on-off power supply feature for fast rapid temperature rise. High setting is ideally suited for fast firing like decal, on glazes and even in metal hardening of knives and hand tools. Lower on off setting is for slow firing to dry clay body to avoid cracking, glaze soaking for smooth coating.
