Lynx burs first manufactured in 1888 is today by Hager & Meisinger Germany.
Tolerences: Extremely close tolerances ensure the shape of each bur head is precisely accurate from one size to another.
Smooth Cutting: Lynx burs cut smoothly without chattering and will not grab and roll around your work piece, scoring it. The cut is always clean and true because the fluting on the bur head is precise and consistent. Fluting refers to the cutting edges on the burs and under microscope the flut is uniform in depth and distance between edges.
Long Lasting: A special tungsten vanadium alloy and careful tempering maximize and retain edge sharpness over time and use.
Ideal cutting bur to set stones in jewellery designing and stone setting. Also used in miniature hardwood carving.
