Antiquated and restored socket chisels, wooden planes & hand tools though been used in the hands of master craftsmen for many years are still good and serviceable for many  more years.
Present hand tools are just not made where it is solely dependent upon for manual craftsmanship of yesteryears. Modern powered tools just cannot be dependent to restore an antique furniture. It just takes off too much. A restored tool makes one a part of that era and better work control and much appreciated performance seasoned.

Nice to collect and better to use, old tools are rare and hard to find. Socket chisels are not seen by many present day hardware operators. Older shops owners often reminisce its metal quality, superb sharpness & durability. Wooden planes for molding and planning are often acclaimed for their superior glide and paper thin curled shavings unlike power planners that leaves rotation gouge marks.

Restored & sharpened tools are now available one of its kind assortment through years of collection sad to part. Some are new. All serviceable sharpened, diamond honed, tempered & wood polished. As collectors item or ready to use. Once sold it is irreplaceable.

Unlike chisels commonly available as straight edge mortise or firmer with gouges, the range of antique wooden planes are far more each performing individual functions. Though every attempt to describe its function, any error or omission is regretted. All planes are restored. Blades flattened, sharpened and honed. All showing signs of use while some are new.
